5 Things that butter my bread.| Friday Favorites.

It’s been a few interesting weeks…and when you have an interesting few weeks you either gather new favorites or a new list of things you hate…and fortunately…I have a small list of new favorites to share today. So buckle up kids…here is:

(Also, please note that the disgusting header photo is not mine…it simply cracked me up when I was surfing google. Thanks)

5 Things That Butter My Bread:

1. Guided meditation. I have been blessed with knowing souls that have taught me meditation techniques…however, there are times when I don’t want to use my own brain…and guided meditation has helped me fill in the gaps between my essention techniques so I keep the daily habit, but don’t have to think to hard.

2. 10 minute yoga videos on YouTube. Again…sometimes your girl doesn’t want to use  her brain…but wants to try something new that’s not overwhelming. Here is the solution to getting into yoga: Short, simple videos that are realistic to fit into a busy schedule.

3.Bullet Journals. I have struggled with sticking to daily journaling for years…and I have found a way to accomplish that goal. Bullet journals! They leave you room to just make lists for your journal entry…or you can pour your soul out. Of course, you can do that in a normal composition notebook…but I found a bullet journal set up is more stimulating for me and has been a great success!

4. Iced tea at home. I have found that making some yummy tea at home, pouring it over ice, and adding a splash of coconut milk has made me giving up soda a little bit easier…so far. But it’s also just been yummy and a recent favorite.

5. Nicecream. I know…what? I have never been a sit down and eat a tub of ice cream person. I would rather dig into some cake. But, I have found vegan nice-cream has been a yummy treat that I don’t really over eat…but satisfies the sweet cravings. So that’s cool!

Alrighty, guys, short blog today! But I wish you all a great weekend and I will see you all Monday! Let me know what has been your recent favorites in the comments below! I would love to hear what’s been making you guys happy lately!

I will find that 10-minute yoga. There is a great journal that allows you to record what you are grateful for and what you hope to accomplish that day. Bullet journals scare me about my lack of creativity. Ha!

That’s awesome! Thank you so much for sharing! Bullet Journals help me put my spastic creative mind into categories! It’s definitely not the format for everyone! 🙂
