A review. You should too.

A part of moving forward is looking back and evaluating yourself. In my opinion, it’s key to knowing what you need to work on. What you did well on. (of course, don’t let that take too much of your time) Since I am an open book, I am going to let you in on my review of how I did on last week’s goals that I posted in my “Fun Sized Goals” post.

Last Week’s “Little Goals”:                                                 Rating (Scale from 1 to 10):

-track food and activity                                                       5/10

-Journal about meditation, what I learned

My Successes This Past Week:


-I posted three blogs                              -tracked food 3/7 days

-Lost 2lbs                                                  -I scheduled with Nik

     -did yoga once                               -I read “Visions” for about half an hour

     -Meditated 3x                                          -I kept my home clean and productive

-Journaled 2-3x                                       -posted to @thekayteableproject 3x

-wrote 2 chapters in my book

What I could improve:


                           -more mindful eating

-a better sleep schedule

-journal more rather than playing on my phone

-work on shoulder exercises

-make more time to workout/meditate

-less phone time

This Next Week’s Goals:

(I added: “Move out of Twin Falls” onto my main goals list this week)

-3bg checks a day                                            -10 min meditation everyday

-track my food everyday                               -drink mindfully (goal: 4 jars)

-journal 4x this week                                     -Read 3 chapters of “Visions”

-no going out to eat                                        -write 1pg of things I learned about this week

-do handstand strengthening exercises 3x this week


While this may not be the most entertaining blog…I thought it might be useful to see constructive criticism/review of a personal week.

      I use cronometer. Its my favorite app personally. And if I can I journal 👌


  2. It’s so important to have goals, but don’t beat yourself up if you don’t fully achieve them. Great post!

    This review idea is STELLAR. I often keep track but don’t often review or acknowledge the good/the bad/the ugly of it. Your review gives me ideas for my own. Great job! So inspiring!!
