“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.”
Happy Wednesday everyone! Hope you all are having a great morning thus far…and if you are not, then I hope it turns around for ya.
Today I just wanted to give you all a few updates and then introduce the newest challenge I have for myself. So, without further ado…let’s get into it!
Update #1: A 140 Day Before and After Photo
140 days ago I posted a photo of myself weighing in at 190 lbs. I wanted to reach the goal of being 150 lbs on my birthday which is next month: February 23–I know, strong Pisces energy– and a few days ago I created a side by side of me currently weighing in at 157lbs. I know so close! I can feel the excitement in my toes!
Update #2: Depression Funk is Gone For Now!
Like with mental illness there are ups and downs…and December and the beginning of January were a bit rough as far as depression goes. Now, obviously, there will be future ups…and furture downs…but right now, I just wanted to share that I am now in an “up” place.
I will do my part to help myself feel my best by continuing to juice, exercise, and maintain my daily habits that make me feel on top of things…as well as doing the things that spark joy. (Example: Reading, drawing, and journaling.)
Update #3: Chonk, But no Gimli.
A few weeks ago, I got what you could call an eviction notice for Mr. Gimli. For those of you who don’t know he was one of two cats that I had in my humble home…but as you can tell by the context clues…he is no longer a resident.
He is loved and missed…and I have received a call that he has been re-homed with a farm family that has the space for his energy and creativity. So…that being said…I now just have Chonk. What can I say…not all the updates can be 100% happy…but I am so grateful that he has space to be himself, rather than cooped up at my apartment.
Now for the newest challenge….
100 Days of Yoga Challenge
Pretty self explanatory…yoga every day…for a 100 days. It’s a big commitment…but it is one that can be flexible. Yoga can be a 10 minute stretch session or an hour long endurance workout. It can work around long days or bad time management…so I shouldn’t have too many excuses. If you want to join me or just see what comes out of it…go follow my weightloss and fitness instagram @thekayteableprojector my main instagram @kayteablewill have occasional updates as well.
That is all for todays blog! I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day! See you all Friday. 🙂
